Good morning Mr. Hunter.
The SMRID is planning to close access to one or all unregulated reservoirs to boaters and recreationists this month
This action has not been properly addressed by SMRID to the public nor does the planned action result in any positive results in regards to control of invasive species.
I would like to know on behalf of all water users, how the Wildrose party would adjudicate this matter before it escalates.
If possible, I would like to speak to you on a personal basis to discover any opportunities to support the SMRID and all irrigation districts with the control of invasive species.
The process of invasive species control is far greater than most individuals understand but it cannot be totally functional unless laws are enacted that encompass all water users in a comprehensive plan.
Actions like those presented by the SMRID is too fractional and discriminatory to be effective and placed a total negative spin on a very serious issue.
Thank you for your time and response in this matter.

This letter never received a response from the Taber Cardston MLA.  Since then, the WildRose party has disappeared under the United Conservative party banner.
